Our Principles

From The Executive Director
On behalf of myself and the entire Board of Directors let me welcome you as you visit the website of the American Council for Judaism. The Council has been in existence for over sixty-five years providing an alternative perspective for Americans of the Jewish faith, as well as those within the silent and often non-participating majority who define their Judaism in the context of their own perspectives.

Our website offers a plethora of intellectual essays and edited articles that span many years, subjects, and authors. Search criteria are available to the interested reader to sort through and select articles of interest. We trust you will find both the historical and newly published articles on our website enlightening.

We understand our heritage, we have come a long way in our evolution, and we are excited about our future. We hope you will join with us, follow our progress and publications, and support our efforts as we move forward. Please do not hesitate to contact us if we can offer any insights or information about the Council or its programs. To support us or subscribe to our publications please visit our Donations and Contact Us pages respectively.

Thank you for your interest and for visiting our website.

With appreciation,

Stephen L. (Steve) Naman, President
American Council for Judaism
